Artist's Comments

i dont think i have to explain anything

EDIT: i guess i do...
the chair in the front, the blue picture, the noise on the photo, is all done in purpose, and i'll tell you why:

-the chair in the front is to give a sense of emptyness, the chair is not disturbing the composition, the chair is the subject of the composition!
-the blue picture is part of the enviroment, the one that the poor guy lives in each and everyday, removing it, would be considered an alteration.
-the noise in the picture is there to give the sense of tension and awkwardness and oppressing feelings, feelings that are emotions, the same emotions that feels the poor guy on the left.

i guees thats all...but if an artist have to explain everything of its art, man...lame...

very sad :( i love the way he is sitting against the wall. makes him seem more vunerable. the picture on the wall really breaks up the picture, i can imagine if that wasnt there this picture could look plain. But it helps bring your eye onto the things on the table. lovely shot :+fav: x

I think the nearest chair gets in the way, it ruins the emptiness of the table. Also, a wider field of view to isolate the table and subject would accentuate the feeling of isolation of the subject.

Really tells a story. :)

not the best quality, could be better without the first chair, but it is expressive, that makes it good
:iconlinkf1:
Very emotionally charged shot, you did a good job here.
